About us

Wellspring Hawaii is the world’s most effective fitness and weight loss program in paradise. With lush rainforests, diverse marine life, active volcanoes and world renowned surf, Hawaii is a unique experience for Wellspring Hawaii Weight Loss and Fitness Camp

all. Young men and women ages 11-24 from Asia, Australia, and North America convene with experienced staff for a summer of success and memories to last a lifetime. Campers master the skills necessary for long term weight control while participating in an array of fun and exciting activities as diverse as Hawaii itself. College age campers enjoy Wellspring Hawaii's separate Upper Camp program.

Surfing, climbing, hiking, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and a range of team sports and aerobics classes are just a few of the activities that campers enjoy while gaining an appreciation of an active lifestyle. The beautiful scenery surrounding our comfortable base camp, as well as the supportive environment established as we all commit to weight loss and long-term weight control, ensure a summer that will never be forgotten.

Located on the slopes of Mauna Kea, our home in the islands is The Tara Center – a gorgeous retreat situated at 1,500 ft overlooking the ocean and the daily sunrise over the Pacific. On 40 rolling acres, we enjoy a river with waterfalls and a swimming hole. With the perfect base camp, we are ideally positioned to launch adventures for exploring the amazing island sights by land and sea.

Wellspring Hawaii is a comprehensive program with a staff of professionals dedicated to the success of our campers. The friendships and memories formed at Wellspring Hawaii last a lifetime, as do the lifestyle changes we all make.
